Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Global Technology X ("GlobalTechX," "we," "us," or "our")for your use of Tutoric (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service for an organization, you represent you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. The Service; AI limitations

Tutoric may generate notes, quizzes, flashcards, and related study materials from text you provide, using third-party AI and infrastructure. Output is generated automatically and may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for your use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and evaluating any content before you rely on it, submit it for school or work, or share it. The Service is not a replacement for professional advice, a licensed tutor, or a human grader. We do not guarantee a particular result, output format, or availability.

3. Accounts and security

You must create an account with accurate information where required, keep your credentials confidential, and not share your account with others. We may use email verification and other means to help secure accounts. You are responsible for activity on your account until you secure it. 4. Acceptable use

You may not, and you agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of law, rights of others, or school/employer policy.
  • Upload or generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative of minors.
  • Attack, scan, or overload the Service, or bypass security or access controls (including with bots or scrapers).
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to source the underlying models, keys, or systems except to the minimum extent the law allows.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product by systematically extracting our outputs, except your own permitted use of your own data.
  • Misrepresent AI output as human or official without clear disclosure if required in your context.

We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if we believe you have violated these Terms or the law, or to protect the Service or other users, subject to any mandatory local consumer rules.

5. Your content

You retain your rights in text and materials you submit, subject to the rights we need to operate the Service. By submitting content, you grant us and our subprocessors a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and use that content to provide, secure, and improve the Service (including to send it to AI and hosting providers) as further described in our Privacy Policy. You represent you have the rights needed to provide that content, including any student work or material you are allowed to use with an internet service.

6. Fees, billing, and cancellation

Paid features are subject to the fees, taxes, and billing cycles shown on the site at the time of purchase, processed by Stripe. Subscriptions may renew until cancelled. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. You may cancel through the billing portal or as Stripe allows; cancellation timing and access through the end of a paid period are governed by Stripe and your plan settings. Unless required by law or as explicitly stated to you at checkout, fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us within a reasonable time at info@globaltechnologyx.com. We will review good-faith disputes, but the foregoing does not create an obligation to refund in any specific case.

7. Service availability; changes

We strive for reliable access but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, limit, or discontinue any feature, including AI models, limits, and pricing, with or without notice (with notice where the law or our policies require).

8. Intellectual property

The Tutoric name, branding, software, and documentation (excluding your inputs and outputs) are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the Service and your generated outputs for your own personal or internal educational use in accordance with law and the limitations above. We do not claim ownership of your inputs or the outputs, except that we need the license in Section 5 to run the Service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ANY CONTENT (INCLUDING AI OUTPUT) ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM THE LAW REQUIRES.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBALTECHX, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFIT, OR REPUTATION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR FROM ANY AI OUTPUT, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE (OTHER THAN LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW) SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS (U.S. $25), EXCEPT FOR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE CAPPED (SUCH AS WHERE PROHIBITED).

Some states or countries do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GlobalTechX, its affiliates, and their officers, from any third-party claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

12. Governing law; disputes

This agreement is (except to the extent mandatory local law supersedes) governed by the laws of the United States and the state where GlobalTechX is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your local consumer law requires a different result. The exclusive courts may be in that state, unless law requires a different venue. If you are a consumer, you may have rights to bring a dispute in your own country; where required, the foregoing does not limit those rights. 13. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy (and, where provided, the Stripe customer terms) form the full agreement. Severability; waiver. If any provision is invalid, the rest remains, and a failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale, subject to law. Notices to you may be sent to your account email.
